Always begin with fresh, cold water. Bring water to a rapid boil and allow to boil about one minute. Rinse the cup or pot with hot water. Measure
your tea, approximately one teaspoon per cup of tea. Pour boiling water over the tea and allow to steep 3-5 minutes, depending on taste. Green and
white tea should be steeped for less time. Add sugar, or honey, lemon or milk to taste and enjoy the full bodied flavor of a real cup of tea!

Tear open a tea bag and look at what is inside. What you see has little resemblance to tea. The manufacturers have taken the full leaf
and pulverized it, turning it into tiny pieces that are more like dust particles than actual tea. This tearing of the leaf lowers its quality.
Tea bags are often composed of this lower quality tea.
Loose tea, on the other hand, has been able to retain its high quality. It is carefully picked by hand and allowed to process naturally.
There is the least amount of tearing to the leaf which enhances its flavor and enjoyment. The difference in taste is without comparison.
